Woven

"Work with love, it is to weave the cloth with threads drawn from your heart."

Source of Inspiration

  • Sahara

This design collection draws inspiration from the Sahara desert. It is an expression of the passion and culture in the dry zone. A lot of clay and neutral colors were used to tie in with the desert styling.

It is designed primarily for use in home accommodations such as Airbnb; that would give the guest the feeling of tropical freshness. Just imagine, you are on vacation and is hosted in an Airbnb which utilizes these designs. Immediately, it will give you a sense of the local culture and ethnicity.  In homes that do Airbnb, furniture is changed out more frequently due to wear and tear from constant usage.

  • Path

Path is a collection of fabrics inspired by a tender flow from stones, sand, and water. Taking from natural colors and shapes, I composed fabric patterns that can make people chill and settle. The appearance of natural objects shows their path with stories. A rock or a piece of wood can tell you its history in silence that calms the mood.

Foot on the warm sand, warm breeze blowing, everything becomes peacefully harmonious with nature. This collection is an expression of a low-key luxury that is lush but not too busy. Expressing tenderness and elegance, this collection is delivering an ideal lifestyle.

Dots & Lines was a group project. It was inspired by the organic shapes of the mountains and wood prints.

I began creating motifs and turned them into repeats. My teammates chose the color palette and adjusted my designs.

In the collection, we have screen-printed, burn-out, and digitally printed fabrics. At last, we put them together by hand.

I added some hand embroidery to the pillow in the left corner to enhance the hand and quality.
